LEM is committed to sustainable development and has a long tradition of acting responsibly. Although the company underwent fundamental structural changes in the last few years, these had no impact on the economical, environmental or social aspects of LEM’s activities.

Socially, LEM strives to be a responsible and attractive employer, giving employees the opportunity for personal growth in an environment that is challenging and rewarding. Excellent cooperation between social partners is part of our corporate tradition and played a pivotal role during our corporate restructuring process.
Ecologically, LEM has two main areas of focus. Internally, it seeks to maintain or reduce energy consumption, water consumption, and waste volume levels per employee and per value added at every single location. In addition, LEM aims to prevent environmental accidents or incidents. Externally, the divisions offer products and services that are highly eco-efficient and we help our customers to link lower costs with reduced environmental impact.
